When you need to reach out to someone
Remember, you have action marketing and attraction marketing.
What you can fully control is action marketing, which means you reach out to people on social media by starting a conversation and seeing where it goes.
You are not in the convincing business. You are in the persuading business. It’s different.
Persuading means advising people through to completion.
Sometimes, you have to persuade people. You don’t have to convince. Convincing people to make money does not make any sense.
Instead, you need to persuade people who are already convinced they want to make money that the way (system) you’re offering is the best possible for them,
We sort through the people who are open and persuade the people who need persuading.
So, the process starts with your initial question, which is just an ice-breaker that must have three components:
- Hey, first name.
- It must show how you found them.
- Ask a question.
Example:
Hey George | I loved the post you made in the Yoga group | How long have you been doing yoga?
Hey Carla, I loved your post on the “Visit Colombia” group about …… Which hotel would you recommend for a family in Cartagena?
Reaching people this way may sound weird to you. It’s understandable.
Do you know why successful people are successful? Because they do what the other ones don’t do. So, doing things that initially sound weird to you is good.
Be weird, and don’t worry about being so.
